Academic flutist and professor of music Anna Sidorova graduated summa cum laude (with honors) at the Conservatory of Music Ippolitov-Ivanov in Moscow.
She obtained her master’s degree in the class of prof. V. V. Korneev – an exellent professor of the Moscow Academy of Music P. I. Tchaikovsky. During her studies, she became a diplomant of the Russian National Music Competition named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, in the discipline of wind instruments.
After completing her studies, she worked as a professor of flute at the Moscow City Music School for seven years. Pupils prof. Sidorova achieved excellent results and successfully continued their musical paths at the academies for music home and abroad. Apart from a pedagogical work, pprof. Sidorova was also a member of the Moscow State Institute of Culture Orchestra. She often collaborated with foreign ensembles and soloists and made several recordings for the radio and television. After she moved with her family to Slovenia, she continued her musical path as a professor. She is also an active chamber musician and a member of the jury at the international competitions.
