Anna Kaira


Studied musicology and choral conducting at the Gnessin Academy in Moscow, and graduated in choral conducting and musicology with honors at the Academy of Music P. I. Tchaikovsky in Kiev.

She later studied musicology at the University of Bayreuth (Germany), where she received her doctorate in 2002.

Dr.Anna Kaira lectured as a professor and docent at different music academies in Germany and Italy.

In Germany, Italy and Ukraine, she led numerous professional choirs, including choirs of different opera houses.

Dr. Kaira  teaches choral conducting at the Academy of Music “Ars Nova” in Trieste and works as a project manager of the international collaborators of the Academy.  She is also a permanent member of the jury of the international musical competition Ars Nova – Trieste and a president of the International Cultural Association ONLUS “Amici Gioventù Musicale – Trieste.”  Dr. Kaira is choir conducter of a professional church choir of the Serbian Orthodox Church San Spiridione in Trieste, Italy.
